Welcome to Medset (the “Website”). These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of our Website, products, and services. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

1. Who We Are

Medset.co.uk is operated by Medset Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 09745897. Our registered office is at 12 Bombay House, Whitworth Street, Manchester, M1 3AB. To contact us, please email here.

2. Use of the Website

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Website. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you have the consent of a parent or guardian if you are under 18. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms and our Privacy Policy with a parent or guardian before creating an account or making any purchase.

2.2 Permitted Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of the Website by, any other person. You must not: use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; transmit, or cause to be transmitted, any unsolicited advertising or promotional material (spam); introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful material; or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website or its systems.

2.3 Account Registration

Where an account is created, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You should notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or suspected breach of security.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, software, and course materials, is owned by or licensed to Medset Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

4.1 Digital Products

All sales of digital content (including online courses, e-learning modules, and downloadable materials) are final. Once access has been granted, no refunds will be issued, in accordance with UK consumer law exceptions for digital content.

4.2 Events and Live Courses

Refunds are available only if a live event (including in-person, webinar, or mock interview) is cancelled or rescheduled by Medset. In such cases, only the event fee will be refunded. Where a bundle includes both an event and a digital course, a refund will apply only to the event portion, with the digital product value retained at its standalone price. Medset is not liable for any additional costs (e.g. travel, accommodation, or other expenses) incurred due to event cancellation or rescheduling.

5. Course Outcomes and Accreditation Disclaimer

While Medset endeavours to align its courses with the requirements of relevant professional or accrediting bodies, we make no guarantee that completion will result in points, qualifications, or any specific professional outcome. You are responsible for confirming the requirements of your regulator or training body before purchase. No refunds will be provided where a course is later found not to meet such criteria.

6. Educational Content Disclaimer

Our content is intended for educational and informational purposes only. Although care is taken to ensure accuracy, we make no representations or warranties regarding completeness, reliability, or suitability. Medset is not responsible for any errors or omissions in content or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, or damage resulting from reliance on our materials. You should always verify medical or professional information independently and exercise your own clinical judgment where applicable.

7. Event Cancellation and Liability

In the unlikely event of cancellation, Medset’s total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the affected event. We do not accept responsibility for any indirect or consequential losses, including travel or accommodation costs.

8. Account and Password Sharing

Sharing login credentials, course access, or account details with others is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where unauthorised sharing or misuse is detected.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medset Ltd and its affiliates, officers, or employees shall not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content.

10. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, store, and use your data. By continuing to use our Website, you consent to our data practices as set out in those policies.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

13. Certificates and CPD Verification

Certificates of completion or CPD points are issued only where learners have met all stated course requirements. Medset may verify completion and reserves the right to withhold or revoke certificates where fraudulent or misleading activity is suspected. Certificates do not represent formal professional accreditation unless explicitly stated.

14. Technical Availability

We make every reasonable effort to ensure continuous access to our Website and courses. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and may occasionally suspend access for maintenance, improvements, or events beyond our control. Medset shall not be liable for any loss arising from temporary unavailability or reduced functionality.

15. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our Website may include links or integrations to third-party platforms or services (such as video streaming, payment gateways, or external learning tools). We have no control over and are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of such third-party services. Your use of them is at your own discretion and subject to their respective terms.

16. Accuracy of Information and System Use

You agree that all information provided during registration or certificate submission is accurate and complete. Any attempt to provide false information or misuse platform features (for example, by falsifying completion data) may result in suspension of access and withdrawal of certification.

17. AI-Based Learning Features

Some learning tools on the Website use artificial intelligence to generate explanations, feedback, or study support. These tools are designed to complement learning and should not be relied upon as professional or clinical advice. Medset does not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated outputs and is not liable for any decisions made based on them.

18. Termination of Access

We aim to maintain a positive and professional learning environment. Where a user breaches these Terms, misuses the platform, or behaves in a manner that disrupts others, Medset may suspend or deactivate the account. We will always act fairly and, where possible, provide notice before taking such action.
